Barbados Villas and the Top Beaches

by Diana

Barbados is one of those islands in the Atlantic Ocean that people fall in love at the first sight. It has a special appeal and seems very attractive to all the people throughout the whole year. There are 365 touristic days when you have to enjoy one of the most luxurious VIP villas and other rentals. However, I recommend that you visit this heavenly place on Earth sometime between January and June (do it and don’t ask why, you’ll understand it yourself). The off season is also fine for those who like heavy rains and fast winds. Yes I know that Caribbean is known for hurricanes which occur very often. However, I never had the chance to experience one during my trips to Barbados. You are safe no matter what others tell you, as long as you know how to enjoy your unique vacation!

The Western Coast of this island is also known as the Platinum Coast. Do you know why? Would you like to know why? Well, if you haven’t had time to read my previous articles you should probably know that in most of the cases all the VIP villas, condos and luxury houses are in this part of the island. However, there is one aspect that I don’t like about West (in comparison with East) and this is the constant noise due to the high tourist traffic.

Nevertheless, the island is beautiful no matter what geographical point you start to explore it from. I’m positively sure that you will find the villa of your dream vacation as long as it is located somewhere close to the ocean, sea or beach and not in the middle of the land. There are plenty of luxury and private beaches that you can take advantage of and people who’ve been to this place already know it. Have you ever seen gold coral sands?

I guess we have a problem if you want to rent a villa in Barbados and still don’t know that you will be dealing with a coral island (joking). However, you will certainly be able to take advantage of the awesome beaches composed of extremely fine tossed ground corals (basically extremely fine grains). Only a few wild beaches don’t have this type of sand, but in most of the cases you won’t find any villas near those beaches. Just stick to my advice here!

If you would like to enjoy paradise you have to start with the Bottom Bay Beach. Located at the North of Sam Lord’s Castle, it is secured by huge cliffs and large palms. Have you ever heard about Robinson Crusoe?

The Church Point is probably number two on the scale that I suggest you guys. It’s not wide, but its cleanliness makes it absolutely special. If you are staying at the Heron Bay House villas you’ll have a view on this beach.

Have you ever been on the Crane Beach in Barbados? I’ve been there! It was originally a harbor I guess, but nowadays it is considered to be one of the most luxury beaches on the whole island. Sounds interesting, huh?

How about Long Beach? Nope, it’s not the one in CA. It’s a pretty famous one as well and stretches for about two miles. What I really liked about it is privacy. You can enjoy sun tanning without any paparazzi disturbing you.

Cattlewash is considered to be the longest beach on the island. Everyone likes it. If you are looking for a special relaxing spot choose this location! One thing though: carefully when swimming, the winds and currents are strong!

Bath – one of the really safe beaches along the entire Atlantic shore. The presence of well trained lifeguard stations makes it so secure. You also have the chance to park your car, change, go on a picnic and many more.

There is no use to rent Barbados villas if you don’t start with the Folkstone beach. If you are one of those people that have never been to this island this is probably one of the first beaches that you have to start with. Go ahead!

The Sandy Lane Bay is not only a great beach; it is culture for people who are in love with luxury travelling and villas. This long wide beach is always in a good excellent condition because it is as well private. However, they allow public access to people who have permits. You can make one yourself the moment you use any of the facilities that they have on their territory: restaurants, children playgrounds, etc.

This is what you need to know about Barbados villas and the top beaches of this island.
